Hey there, friends!
Let’s dive into the incredible journey of transforming a tired, golden oak kitchen into a sleek and stylish culinary oasis. We started with dull hues and outdated vibes, but we ended up with a space that’s bursting with warmth, elegance, and just the right amount of timeless pizzaz.

Let’s Set the Scene
So, imagine walking into a kitchen stuck in the ’90s, with those golden oak cabinets and a layout that’s seen better days. It was clear that change was long overdue, and we were ready to roll up our sleeves and make it happen. After all, who doesn’t love a good before-and-after story?

This space was absolutely drowning in brown tones.

Crafting the Vision
Our goal? To create a space that’s not only functional but also easy on the eyes. We started by swapping out those tired oak cabinets for warm white ones, instantly brightening up the room. We added height by taking these cabinets to the ceiling.
Then, we added bright off-white subway tiles for a classic touch that never goes out of style.

Let There Be Light
Of course, no kitchen is complete without plenty of natural light. So, we decided to install a brand-new, larger window over the sink to let the sunshine flood in. Trust me, it’s amazing what a little extra light can do to make dishes a little more bearable!

Functional Flair
Next up, we wanted to add a bit of modern flair to the mix. That’s where the open walnut shelving came in. Not only do these shelves provide ample storage space, but they also serve as the perfect spot to show off your favorite decor items. We also added a little more character by opening up the cabinets around the stove by using glass front doors.

This custom range hood and accent tile really make a statement!
Adding Some Color
Now, let’s talk about this stunner, the slate blue island. Talk about making a statement! This bold hue adds a pop of color to the space while still maintaining that bit of classic sophistication. It makes for the perfect spot to gather with family and friends.

Behind the island you’ll see a peek of the custom coffee bar. <3 This remodel and custom pieces were all done by Heritage Builders.

Golden Touches
Last but certainly not least, we sprinkled in some gold accents to up the glam factor. From sleek fixtures to elegant hardware, these little touches add a touch of traditional luxury to the space. Because let’s face it, brass accents are here to stay.

And just like that, this kitchen went from boring to stunning! It’s truly amazing what some strategic design choices can do. *wink*
