Travel Must-Haves: My Ride-or-Die Essentials for Every Trip

Packing for a trip is an art form, and over the years, I’ve learned that the secret to stress-free travel isn’t just bringing less—it’s bringing the right things. After far too many flights spent wishing I had packed smarter, I’ve locked down the absolute essentials that make travel smoother, more comfortable, and just better.

These are the things I never leave home without—because they work, they last, and in some cases, they’ve literally saved my sanity mid-flight.

The In-Flight Comfort Kit

Lip Balm (This one)

Dry lips on a plane are the worst, and this lip balm is the only one that actually fixes it. It smells like honey, is all-natural, and makes my lips feel like velvet. I love it so much that I subscribe to the full-size bottles and use it every single day. It’s a total game-changer for dry skin, too—obsessed.

Heated Eye Mask (This one)

This isn’t just an eye mask—it’s a miracle worker. It plugs into my portable charger (more on that below) and gently heats up, which is amazing for long flights, headaches, or just shutting out the world. It’s basically a spa treatment at 30,000 feet, and I refuse to travel (or live) without it.

Wireless Earbuds (These)

Finding comfortable earbuds that actually stay in and hold a charge forever? Nearly impossible. But these do all that and more. They’re lightweight, don’t make my ears ache, and the awareness mode lets me hear my surroundings without taking them out—perfect for airports.

Sanitizing Wipes (These)

Airplanes = germ central. These wipes smell amazing and actually disinfect, which makes them a must-have when traveling with kids. I use them on tray tables, armrests, hotel remotes, hands—basically, anything that looks questionable (which is… most things in public spaces).

Nausea Lozenges (These)

If you get motion sickness, eat something questionable (or just exist with a sensitive stomach *cough* hello, me *cough*), these lozenges are true life savers. They actually work, taste so good, and make travel days so much easier. I always keep a pack in my bag at all times.

The “Stay Fresh” Essentials

Deodorant (This one)

I get so many compliments on how I smell because of this deodorant. It’s the only natural deodorant that has ever worked for me, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it lasts for days without needing to reapply. If you’ve struggled to find one that actually does the job, this is it.

Wisps Mini Toothbrushes (These)

Best. Travel. Hack. Ever. No water? No sink? No problem. These little toothbrushes freshen your breath instantly, and I can’t tell you how many times they’ve saved me after a long flight or an unfortunate airport coffee.

Travel Perfume (This one)

There’s perfume, and then there’s this perfume. It smells like walking through a moody midnight forest — you know?, and I get constant compliments every time I wear it. It’s warm, slightly mysterious, and just the right amount of cozy—but in a sexy way. It’s also the perfect size for travel.

Sunglasses (These)

Lightweight, super cute, and polarized lenses that make everything look crisp and clear—yes, please. These are my go-to sunglasses for traveling because they actually stay on my face and make bright afternoon sun slightly less aggressive.

Tech Must-Haves That Save the Day

Portable Charger (This one)

This thing is a literal lifesaver. One charge can get my phone back to full battery three times—which is why my family is always stealing it (so I had to buy them all their own). If you’ve ever had your phone die right when you need directions, a boarding pass, or just want to scroll in peace, you need this.

Kindle & Protective Cover (Kindle | Cover)

My Kindle is my best friend when traveling. The charge lasts for weeks, and since I read every single day, it’s my favorite thing to have in my bag. The cover is adorable and functional—it has a stand and a hand loop, so I can read comfortably anywhere.

The Travel Bag That Holds It All

The Perfect Travel Bag (This one)

This bag is everything. It’s super durable, has so many pockets, and fits everything without feeling bulky. And the color? Obsessed. Whether I’m flying or just need a solid carry-on, this is the bag.

Final Thoughts

Packing smart means traveling better. With these must-haves, I stay comfortable, prepared, and fresh no matter where I’m headed. Whether it’s a long-haul flight or a weekend getaway, these essentials make all the difference.
